Over the past several years, Paul G. Allen has increased the scale and scope of his efforts to tackle some of the world's toughest challenges. From tackling the Ebola outbreak in Western Africa to creating smarter cities to developing strategies to preserve Africa's elephant populations, his organization, Vulcan, has stretched and expanded into new areas to support his ideas.

Those include making a bigger impact on two of the biggest challenges facing the world today: ocean health and climate change.

While Vulcan already has a significant portfolio of projects that include the Smart City Challenge, Global FinPrint and several ocean acidification efforts, we want to do more. That's why we're seeking two new leaders to help us develop our ideas and build out our strategic vision on these crucial issues.

If you have a passion for climate-related issues or deep experience with ocean health, join our team. Read more about the specific roles and apply:

  • The Director, Climate Program brings strategic vision, imagination and entrepreneurial capability to create a portfolio of projects that catalyzes solutions to address our most pressing climate issues. APPLY >>
