Borealis, a 33,000 square foot, six-story building at the northwest corner of Denny Way and Dexter Avenue, opened in early 2008. It has 53 apartments, including studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom homes ranging from 500 to 1,000 square feet, and they are designed for Built Green status. Borealis provides homes for families earning 80 percent of the median household income for King County.
